When we moved back to our townhouse in South Africa (Feb 2000) we had to do some minor renovations. The tenants that rented our place while we were overseas had left it in a less than desirable state. Anyway, we did some painting, tiling and carpeting and our home is as good as new. It is beginning to get a little small for us (with Jessica's arrival ) but it is really comfortable and we a extremely happy there.
